Two and three-night wellbeing programs on the Hudson, led by teachers at the top of their fields.

Relax & Write with Maia Danzinger

April 16-18

A woman with curly hair sitting outside in a modern glass cottage, reading a book with a cup of coffee on her lap, surrounded by lush green trees.
A bright bedroom with a large sliding glass door opening to a grassy yard and trees outside. The room has a bed with white linens, a bedside table with a small plant, and a chair with books on it.

ACCOMMODATIONS

We’re staying either in private luxury riverfront cabins or in Edgewood mansion.

All rooms have free wi-fi, coffee machine, apothecary bath amenities, mini-fridge, wine opener, and in-room safe.

A large historic Victorian house with a tower, surrounded by trees and a well-maintained lawn, under a partly cloudy sky.
A historic hotel suite with white walls, a bed with white bedding, and a window letting in natural light. There are framed pictures on the wall, a small side table, an antique chair, a chandelier, and a decorative fireplace.

WHAT TO PACK

Spring

Spring on the Hudson can bring warm sunshine one moment and cool river breezes the next, so packing layers—and footwear that can handle a little mud—is always a good idea.

ITINERARY

FRIDAY NIGHT

Gather, connect, and get an overview of the Relax & Write process—plus time for questions. Then we begin: a guided meditation to open the creative unconscious, followed by a writing session. This first piece is just for you, with no obligation to share (though you're welcome to later in the weekend).

SATURDAY MORNING

Guided meditation and writing, followed by group sharing. Maia responds to each piece, drawing out the strength already present in the work so you can build from there. Reading aloud is optional but encouraged.

SATURDAY AFTERNOON

We finish any remaining readings from the morning, take a short break, then repeat the cycle: meditation, writing, and sharing.

SUNDAY MORNING

Remaining pieces from Saturday are read, followed by one more round of writing and sharing. Anything left unheard by the group can be shared privately with Maia—every piece gets heard, if you want it to.

THROUGHOUT THE WEEKEND

Maia is available for questions, support, and the connection that comes with creating alongside others.
