Named for the wild aster that blooms across the Hudson Valley each fall, Aster is a modern French steakhouse from the team behind Edgewood: the same devotion to local, seasonal cooking, now with prime cuts, French classics, and a room to linger in.

  • Evenings at Aster begin and end at the Bistro & Bar, a relaxed lounge just off the main dining room.

    Cocktails built on local spirits come off the oak bar, and plates come from the same kitchen as the steakhouse: the short rib grilled cheese, duck confit frites, and more as the season turns. Come before your reservation, wander in without one, or stay awhile for a nightcap.
