Hutton Brickyards Riverfront Hotel + Venue welcomes you and your four-legged companion to 100 acres of fresh air, river views, and room to roam. In partnership with Oh Norman! — the pet wellness brand co-founded by actress Kaley Cuoco and CEO Katie Hunt — we’ve created a Hudson Valley getaway for relaxing, exploring, and enjoying the outdoors together. Settle into a temperature-controlled cabin, then head outside to explore the grounds. Your welcome kit includes treats and goodies, depending on availability. Examples are below.

Dog-Friendly Activities

Dine with dogs at River Pavilion

No need to leave your pup behind while you eat. Our open-air restaurant, available May-October, is 100% dog-friendly. After your meal, take in the river view while your dog runs along the waterfront.

Hike or bike the Hudson River Brickyard Trail

This 1.9-mile segment of the sprawling Empire State Trail runs along North Street on our property and takes you to the recently expanded Sojourner Truth State Park. See our complete Hikes & Trails guide for more recommendations.

Our Pet Policy

A few simple guidelines help keep the experience happy for everyone — two- and four-legged alike.

Where dogs can stay: Dogs are welcome in our cabins but not inside Edgewood Mansion. Up to two domestic dogs per cabin.

Keep them healthy: All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations and protected against fleas and ticks.

Out and about: Please keep dogs on a leash or in a carrier whenever they’re outside the cabin.

When you step out: If your dog is staying behind, they must be crated and should not disturb other guests. If a dog is excessively loud, we may need to ask them to leave.

Clean up, please: Pick up after your dog. You will find a doggie waste bin near the fire pits and garbage cans throughout the property.

Most important: You’re responsible for your pet’s safety at all times.
