    • The best time to arrive at River Pavilion costs less than you'd think. Every Tuesday through Friday from 5 to 6 PM, Golden Hour takes over the bar: $2 oysters on the half shell, $3 shrimp, $5 truffle fries, $5 draft beer, $8 house wine, $10 frozen specialty cocktails, and $2 off signature cocktails. Bar and lounge only.

  • Tucked away in a secluded corner with a view, you’ll find the Semi-Private Dining Room at River Pavilion.

  • This Labor Day weekend we're sending summer off with a little country spirit.

    Here's what's on:

    • Line Dancing + DJ — Saturday 9/5 under the pavilion lights, 6 to 9PM, no cover

    • Pig Roast Specials — Saturday we roast a whole pig over live fire for Pork Carnitas Tacos, BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders, and a Pork Cuban, served alongside the regular dinner menu

    • Sunday Yoga with Juan Diaz - complimentary morning session on the Rondout lawn, right beside the water

    • Sunday Country Brunch - the full brunch menu with a country soundtrack to match the weekend

    • Lake Sophia's Last Splash - the new spring-fed swimming quarry at neighboring Sojourner Truth State Park closes for the season after this weekend; it's a short drive from the restaurant

We're sending summer off with a little country spirit: a Saturday pig roast off the live fire, line dancing under the pavilion lights, country brunch and complimentary lawn yoga Sunday, and the last weekend to swim at Lake Sophia.

Signature cocktails, local craft drafts, and a wine list anchored by Whispering Angel rosé. The bar is open for lunch, brunch, dinner, and - on Fridays and Saturdays - long after.

  • Yes. River Pavilion is open to the public, and guests do not need to stay overnight with us to dine there.

  • River Pavilion is open Tuesday through Saturday for dinner from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., with lunch Thursday through Saturday from 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. On Sundays, River Pavilion serves brunch from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and dinner from 2:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Yes. Reservations are strongly encouraged at Edgewood and recommended at River Pavilion, though River Pavilion also welcomes walk-ins based on availability.

  • Yes. Edgewood asks parties larger than six to submit a special events inquiry, and River Pavilion also supports private and semi-private dining arrangements.

  • Yes. River Pavilion welcomes dogs in its outdoor seating areas and sits along the Empire State Trail, making it ideal for a walk before or after a meal.

  • Yes. River Pavilion allows takeaway orders, which are ideal for picnics or exploring the property.

  • No. Edgewood Restaurant + Bar and River Pavilion accept major credit cards and Apple Pay, but not cash.
